Become a Member Today!

Joining the League is a great way to play an active role in your community and in our democracy! Everyone is welcome - membership in the League is open to anyone 16 years or older - no matter how you identify. 

WHAT IS THE FEE? Students can sign up at $20 a year. We suggest $75 as a regular member annual rate, but you can give what you can, from $20 up. Add a second member at the same rate, and share their email.

How to Pay?

Our preferred payment option is a direct bank transfer (ACH transfer), which minimizes fees. You’ll need your financial institution's routing number and your account number.

Pay by credit or debit card.

Pay by check:
○ Please make your check payable to LWVUS.
○ Print and complete this Membership Form. (Please include the name and email address of any additional household member included in the dues amount.)
○ Mail your check and membership form to:  LWVPA Membership, 3921 E. Bayshore Road, Palo Alto, CA  94303.

You will receive an online confirmation and an email receipt for your payment.  Your membership dues payment will show up as three transactions on your account — one each to LWV of Palo Alto, LWV California and LWVUS. You’ll be a member of all three! 

Keep things simple by automatically renewing each year! Just select auto-renewal when you are paying your dues.

When you join LWV of Palo Alto, you are also joining the national and state Leagues. 33% of your dues payment will go to LWVUS, 47% to LWV California, and 20% to our Palo Alto League. When you make a donation, 100% of your donation goes to our local League, to help accomplish the important work that our volunteers do.


How to Renew

You will receive an email reminder to renew one year after your last renewal, with a link to renew on the LWV Member Portal. If you have signed up for auto-renew, you'll get a reminder that your membership is automatically renewing.


Update your record

To update your contact information or view your past payments, go to the LWV Member Portal. To log in to the portal: enter the email address associated with your membership. You'll be sent an email with a verification code to enter the code into the form. (You don't need a password.)


Make a Donation!

You'll have the option to make a direct donation to LWV of Palo Alto when paying your dues, or you can donate directly to us on our Donation Page. Thank you for making a gift - and a difference!
